Restart the economy is a challenge competition involving SMEs from V4 and Western Balkan countries to compete and train themselves.
The participants are intended to find solutions to real business problems. The main goal is to gather openminded representatives for the 2-day event who bring their ideas or work out a business solution. The chances for sustainable change is much higher with the right knowledge, mentors, and network, so the participants will receive high standard training where they will learn about the practical techniques of innovation management, design thinking or perform a pitch presentation so that we could bridge the gap between theoretical and practical knowledge. The event will end on a pitching day where the participants will have to present their ideas to a professional jury. All participants can showcase their ideas to the pool experts, industrial partners, venture capital players, and angel investors as well; professional mentors will support their process.
This Challenge responds to local needs arising from the COVID-19. The main objective is to reboot the local economy after the crisis, support economic development, innovation and promote entrepreneurship by organizing a quality event. In the long term, the networks and other sustainable linkages among the target groups could support the quadruple helix in the V4 and the Western Balkan regions as well.
Involving this significant partners’ network and the number of participants which will create a significant number of real business solutions, we aim to boost the economy and individual competencies: the companies and local realities will benefit from the innovative ideas, and the individuals will gain new competencies and supportive networks; the project will help to find a match between the market and individual/groups specific skills.
